Jen and I adopted a rescued pug from New Jersey this Saturday. His name is Mario, he's around 2 years old, he has had roundworm and is still trying to regain his weight because his owner didn't bring him to the vet.

You can check him out at my Flickr page |

Don't confuse an abstract noun with a concrete noun. Most nouns are concrete, not abstract. Concrete nouns register on your five senses. Here is an example: Joseph cuddled the wet puppy under his warm jacket.
...
Recognize a preposition when you see one.
The dolphin is in the soup. |

I don't know if it stacks up to Safari yet, but Opera is now freaking awesome, go download the new version of Opera, version 8.5 is FREE with no ads! it has tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, mouse gestures, inline search, voice commands, and a whole slew of unique and amazing features to liven your browsing experience. If you haven't heard of Opera before, (I believe) they were the first to implement pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing, and mouse gestures.
Also, if you use any somewhat up-to-date browser, make Google Personalized your homepage. You need a GMail account to do it, but it's worth it, even just to have your search history. The only downside so far is that google suggest does not work with google personalized... which is fine because not all of the bugs have been worked out of it yet. |

| | frustrated | ] | I heard the most completely ridiculous crap on the Fox news tonight... a report titled "Evacuee Concerns" spewed forth the most in-compassionate crap I have heard since... well, since Barbara Bush said that the poor people from New Orleans are better off. Back to the report, the pretty blonde reporter in the nice suit rambled on about how awful it is that some people taking asylum in Massachusetts may have a criminal record. When disaster strikes we're quick to say "Awww, those unfortunate poor people, we should help!" but then when they show up in our neighborhoods we don't want to have anything to do with them. What the hell is wrong with everyone?!? I don't know who I despise more, liberal weenies, or conservative boneheads. |
